It's About Time to Put 2021 in Writing...

Stronger

This year we learned in a difficult and unchartered way that we can lay out a plan to pursue our dreams and claim outcomes only to see things go left in the blink of an eye.  So when I say put 2021 in writing...maybe in pencil this time.  I'm kidding a bit but over the year my approach has evolved to starting with a broader concept of attitude before I specify my approach to specific goals. In 2020, I gained...

  • Gratitude
  • Resilience
  • Patience
  • Persistence
  • Trust

While some of us were able to pivot and push through in 2020, countless others were not.  Certainly this year made us all stronger as we relied on our inner strength to get us through each and every day.  We learned that we were survivors not just of the pandemic but from the loss of family or friends, employment, and other basic necessities.  We endured extended isolation and disconnection from others.  We endured turbulence in our society.  We reached out for support or did what we could to help others in need.

I experienced spiritual growth on a new level as I added daily devotion to my day and learned to take comfort in God and build up my trust in Him.  In the midst of all of the uncertainty, I came to terms early on that no matter what was in store for me, I would accept it.  I also increased the value of every minute of every day and committed to no longer take anything or anyone that was truly close to me for granted.  2020 was a wake up call to be better and to do better not just for myself but for others.

Are you ready to take what you learned in 2020 and commit to a better approach to 2021? I know that we can all do this.  We are so much STRONGER!
